WOW Embossing Powder: New Release

Hi Crafty Friends! I hope you are doing well! I am super excited for the new release from WOW embossing powder! There are new Embossing Powder Trios, Stamps, and stencils too! For today’s card I am using the new background stamp – Sparkling Present. I adore this stamp set and believe it can not only can be used as a holiday stamp, but can be used year round for many celebrations! I started by prepping my card stock panel with my embossing buddy. Then I stamped the image using Versafine Clair ink in Nocturne. I stamped the image on Bristol Smooth card stock. I then heat set the image using Clear Matt embossing Powder. I then used my Zig Clean and Clear Brush markers to color in the presents. I only used 2 shades of color for each and kept the coloring simple.

Once the coloring was complete I trimmed the panel using a Hero Arts Nested Rectangle die. I then set this aside to work on my sentiments. I die cut the word celebrate 2x out of white card stock. I then adhered these together. I heat embossed one of the white papers prior to die cutting using the new Powdered Snow from the new Winter Dreams Trio! It truly glistens like snow!

I then chose 2 sentiments from the new Christmas Sentiment set. I stamped these onto black card stock using WOW embossing Ink and heat set these using Opaque Bright White Embossing Powder. I then trimmed the sentiments. I added some additional sparkle and shine to the presents using my WOW embossing Pen and Fiery Fun Powder, this is a beautiful pink from the new trio – Pink-a-licious .

To complete my card I chose a piece of pattern card stock from my stash. I trimmed this using my rectangle die. I then adhered my card together using both liquid adhesive, as well as foam tape!
