Hello Crafty friends I am super excited to be back today joining the team over at Simon Says Stamp for their Monday Challenge! This week the theme is Have a Heart! I had a lot of fun this week and I can’t wait to see all the AMAZING makes! Thank you to Simon Says Stamp for having me as a guest this month!
I started with 2 playing cards to create these heart ATC’s. I began by adding torn book pages, dry wall tape, and gesso to the the cards. Once these layers were dry, I added acrylic paint from my stash. I applied the paint with a paintbrush, as well as a brayer.
Next I die cut 6 hearts using the Basic Hearts die set. I then applied embossing ink to each heart and added Golden Bloom embossing powder to each heart. I then heat set these with my heat tool. I then applied Luster Wax in Gold from Sizzix using my finger to each heart randomly. Next I added washi tape to each ATC and additional layers of watered down gouche paint.
I completed each ATC by adding white and black splatters, as well as a sentiment from Small Talk sticker book. I hope these inspire you to have fun and create a handmade ATC for someone special!
