Spellbinders: September Small Die and Clear Stamp

Hi Crafty friends! I am super excited to be back with you today to share 2 of the amazing and beautiful new clubs this month from Spellbinders! For today’s card I am using the Small Die of the Month and the Clear Stamp of the Month! I had a lot of fun working with this month’s clubs! The Small die this month is called Layered Mix and Match Sentiments! It is awesome and has sentiments for several occasions! I love how it includes a shadow die! The clear stamp this month is so cute and is called A Little Bird Told Me. There is also an add on this month to the stamp set – Tweet Friends – Die Set Clear Stamp. So let’s get started on today’s card!

I started by die cutting the flowers in this months die set. It includes a small and larger flower, as well as leaves, and the flower center. I die cut several flowers, leaves, and centers using Spellbinders cardstock (assorted Pack Color Essential). Once everything was die cut, I adhered the flowers together. I die cut the larger leaves using white card stock using the Simply Perfect Layered Blooms die set.

Next I die cut a sentiment from this months small die set. I chose to use Happy Birthday. I die cut the shadow in white card stock, and the script sentiment using Spellbinders cardstock. Once these were die cut, I adhered these together using liquid glue.

Next I created my background for my sentiments and floral images using the Spellbinders Plaid Company embossing folder. I used a piece of Neenah card stock and placed this inside my folder and my platinum machine. I then trimmed this using a Nested Rectangle die. Once my panel was die cut, I started to work on the placement of my sentiment, flowers, and leaves. I then adhered these down using liquid glue.

To complete the card I adhered the panel to an A2 card base and added a few sequins for added sparkle!

I added the adorable birdie stamp to the inside of my card from this month’s clear stamp set!
