Mini Fall Blooms: Spellbinders

Hi Crafty Friends! I am super excited to be back today sharing a card using the Mini Fall Blooms die set from the Fall Traditions Collection from Spellbinders! I love this die set! The set has mini leaves, an acorn, flowers, berries, and sprigs! This set has so many possibilities and will be the perfect set to add to your fall collection! I paired today’s card with the Falling Leaves embossing folder! This folder has beautiful leaves and the details are just GORGEOUS!!!!!!! You can see all of the Fall Traditions collection here! So let’s get started!

For today’s card I started by choosing my colors of card stock. I used a paper pad from Scrapbook.com – Boho collection. Once I had my paper colors selected I started by doing all of my die cutting. I cut all the leaves, acorns, flowers, springs, and berries. I used multiple colors for each die from the Mini Blooms die set. I also cut some larger leaves out of 2 colors from the Autumn Leaves die set. I used the larger leaves from this set to create the base layer for my wreath. Once everything was die cut I glued the acorns together (bottoms and tops), as well we the sprigs and berries. I adhered all of these using liquid glue. I then set these aside.

Next I used a circle die from the Essential Circles die set to draw a circle onto a piece of Neenah cardstock. I placed the circle on top of my card stock and traced the outline using a pencil directly onto my paper. Next I placed the paper inside my Falling Leaves embossing folder and ran this through my Spellbinders Platinum machine. The details in the leaves are just gorgeous! I love the details on the white card stock.

Next I started to work on building my wreath onto my embossed background. I used the circle outline as the shape for my wreath. I started with the largest leaves to build the wreath, then I continued to add on using all my die cuts. I had a lot of fun building the wreath. I would build and then glue once I had things placed where I wanted them.

Once everything was glued on, I chose a sentiment from this month’s Small Die of the Month set and die cut the shadow/word using coordinating colors. I then adhered these together. I die cut the word hello 3 times and then adhered together for added dimension.

To complete the card I adhered the sentiment using foam tape, and added a few sequins, as well as Gold Ranger Liquid Pearls. Finally I adhered the card panel/wreath to a brown A2 card base.
