Imagine: My Monthly Hero Kit February 2024 | Hero Arts

Hello Crafty Friends! I wanted to stop back in to share another card using the AMAZING new February 2024 My Monthly Hero Kit! I had so much fun with this kit and wanted to share a card using the Premium Kit and the AMAZING stencil in the kit! So let’s get started!

For today’s card I started with a piece of Luxe White Watercolor paper. I then created a background using Hero Arts Sprays in: Royal Purple and Gold, Black & Shimmer, as well as Ocean Blue and Gold! I love the colors within these sprays and the intensity of color and sparkle! They are so fun to work with! I started with 1 layer, using 1 color at a time. I then spritzed sections of the panel with water, dried with my heat tool, then picked up color with my paper towel. I repeated this process a couple times until I had the texture I was looking for. I then set the panel aside to completely dry.

Next I placed the stencil from the Premium Kit on top of my colorful panel. I then applied Hero Arts Paste in Gold using my palette knife. I applied the paste in various sections. I then removed the stencil, cleaned the stencil, and allowed the paste to dry.

Once the panel was dry I trimmed the panel using Hero Arts Nesting Rectangle Dies. I kept the extra sections that were die cut and trimmed these to add to the top of the card base once adhered. I encourage you to keep you extras, they are perfect ways to add more detail and layers to your cards! Next I die cut a circle from the center of the panel using Circle Nesting Dies. I die cut 3 more from Dove Whie card stock to add layers to the center of the card. I adhered these together. Next I adhered the panel, as well as the circle layers to my A2 card base. I then adhered the strips of paper in sections onto the panel.

I then die cut the word Imagine from the kit 4 times using white card stock. Next I adhered these together with liquid glue. I then stamped the sub sentiments using Pitch Black Ink. Finally I adhered these to my card front. I had so much fun with this kit! I truly encourage you to check them out, there is so much value in the kits, it is truly the best Happy Mail each month!
