Hello Beautiful

Hi friends! I am so excited to share with you a gorgeous new release from Simon Says Stamp! The release is called Hello Beautiful! I am so excited about this release… it has beautiful new spring stamps, bunnies, florals, new sentiments, a wood mount stamp, and cream embossing powder! So much crafty goodness – you can see all of the new release here Hello beautiful!

For today’s card I am using the ADORABLE new stamp set Bunny Blessings. I started by prepping my card panel with my embossing buddy. I stamped the 2 tree images from the Bunny Blessings stamp set onto Arches Cold Press watercolor card. I used Versafine Clair Nocturne ink to stamp my images. I then heat set the images using clear embossing ink. For today’s card I wanted to create a spring scene. I stamped serval bunnies, flowers, eggs, and butterflies onto Arches Cold Press watercolor card. I followed the same process as above. Once everything was stamped, heat set, and taped down, it was time to watercolor! Today I used my Mijello Mission Gold watercolors.

I enjoyed watercoloring these adorable images in this stamp set! They are just so cute! I worked in layers and allowed each layer to dry. Once everything was colored I used my scan and cut to trim several of the images. I wanted to add a bit of sparkle to a few of my eggs. I used Simon Says Stamp Unicorn Confetti Glitter. I added a little glue and then sprinkled the glitter on top! I love the added shine! It was then time to build my scene! I had fun building a scene in today’s card, this is something new for me! I used foam tape to adhere several of the images to give them dimension.

To complete my card I trimmed down the card panel using a Hero Arts Nested Rectangle die. I adhered this to a piece of pattern paper from my stash and then onto my card panel. Then I chose a sentiment from the set. I stamped the image using the WOW embossing ink pad and heat set this using Ranger White (Super Fine) embossing powder. I adhered my sentiment and my card was complete!
