Amazing Paper Grace: March 2022 Club – Spellbinders

Hi Crafty friends! I am excited to be back today sharing one of the new monthly clubs with you for Spellbinders. Today I am sharing the new Amazing Paper Grace club. Today’s new set is called Bella Ovalette and it has 12 cutting dies. You can see the new club kit here. So let’s get started.

For today’s card I created an A2 card using this month’s kit. Many of the monthly die sets will include options to make 5 x 7 cards, while the inlays and accessories include options for smaller presentations. I had fun using the inlay pieces to create a smaller card (A2)! This set is stunning and I had a lot of fun!

I started by die cutting the inner layer dies. I used several of the inner die cuts. I cut each layer using 3 pieces of card stock. I die cut each layer in white and pink. Once everything was die cut, I adhered them with liquid glue and set them aside.

Next I used the January Spellbinders Embossing Folder of the month. I ran this through my Platinum machine and then die cut the panel using the Essential Rectangles die set. I adhered the dry embossed panel to an A2 card base.

Next I die cut the flowers included in this months kit, along with the leaves. I die cut these on both pink and 2 shades of green card stock. I then used Distress Oxides to ink blend around the center of the florals, as well as on the leaves to add a bit more interest and texture. I then used my flower shaping tool to add more dimension to my flower images. Next I adhered these together using liquid glue. I added a gem to the center of each flower with liquid glue.

Next I die cut some more leaves using the mini blooms and springs die cuts. I cut these using 2 shades of green card stock. I did add some Lindy’s Gang Starburst sprays to the leaf images. I love the added shine this gave to my leaves! Lindy’s has so many color options to choose from for Starburst Sprays. I have linked them below! The shine is truly beautiful!

Once everything was die cut it was time to begin to adhere my flowers, leaves, and the Amazing paper Grace panels to the front of my dry embossed panel. Once everything was adhered I added a sentiment from Yana’s Layered Script Sentiments (die cut and layered with foil card stock on top). I completed the card with a glimmer sub sentiment.
