All the Feels – NEW Release: Simon Says Stamp

Hi crafty friends! I am back to share the AMAZING and beautiful new release with you over at Simon Says Stamp! You can see all of the new release here – it’s AMAZING! For my first card I am sharing 2 new stamp sets with you Flower Garden and Sassy Mama.

I started by cutting a piece of Fabriano Hot Pressed paper into a panel of about 7in x 7in. For today’s card I wanted to create a mini slimline! Did you see in this new release – Simon has released mini slimline dies? I am so excited! I didn’t use them for my card, but I am super excited about these! So check them out…… I started by prepping my card panel with my anti-static powder tool and then stamped the large floral image using my Misti. I stamped the large floral from the new set Flower Garden onto my water color card. I used Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and then heat set the image using a Clear Embossing Powder – Ranger. I then taped down my large floral panel onto my wood board and it was time to watercolor! I used my Karin markers to color this gorgeous new set! I love this new stamp, it is a large stamp 6×8 inches and it is so fun to watercolor! For my card I used the following colors: Apple, Olive Green, Rose Pink,Gold, Pale Violet, Cool Aqua, Amber, Magenta, Sandstone, Magenta red, and Turquoise. You can use any color combo you want…. I love the whimsical feel to these flowers!

I continued to add layers of color until my coloring was complete! Once my coloring was complete I decided to trim the panel down to create 2 cards! I was very nervous to cut the panel, but decided I wanted to create 2 mini-slim line cards! I trimmed my panel down to 3×6. Once it was trimmed down it was time to add splatters! I used my metallic watercolors to add splatters! I love the extra dimension this gives to your cards! I then created my own card base measuring 3.25 x 6.25. I adhered the panel to my card base.

I then chose 2 sentiments from the AMAZING new Sassy Mama stamp set! This set is so fun and has so many awesome sentiments in this kit that will make you smile! I stamped these onto white card stock using Versafine Clair Nocturne ink. I then trimmed these down. I adhered these to my card panel using foam tape.
