Hello Crafty friends I am super excited to be back today joining the team over at Simon Says Stamp for their Monday Challenge! This week the theme is Things with Wings! I had a lot of fun this week and I can’t wait to see all the AMAZING makes! Last week I shared with you that you will see another half of the panel I created. I started by trimming my panel from last week as my base layer. Next I die cut the Whirl Butterflies on black cardstock. Once they were cut, I added embossing ink, as well as Gilded Patina embossing powder from Seth Apter and Wow. I love all the texture on the butterflies.
Once they were die cut, I added texture under the butterflies using old book pages, as well as cheese cloth. I then adhered the layers down and added foam tape under the butterflies. I added a few additional die cuts from my extras stash to the panel. I then added a sentiment from Small Talk, as well as white splatters for additional texture.
