Simon Says Stamp – Handmade Holiday Release

Hi Crafty Friends! I am super excited to be back with you today! I am sure you have seen the AMAZING and beautiful new release from Simon Says Stamp! It is truly beautiful and you will want to check it out! You can see the full release here. I had so much fun and I know you will too! So many amazing goodies for handmade greeting cards and gifts too! So let’s get started!

For my first card I am using the AMAZING new Mini Rainbow Glitz Gel! This set is so pretty and has 6 colors included in the set! So much fun to add sparkly designs and textures to your holiday cards! I paired the glitz gel with the Geometrics Snowflake stencil from the previous release – Peace on Earth. I started by creating an ink blended background using the Geometric snowflake stencil and 3 colors of Distress Inks. I used my Make Art station to hold my paper and stencil in place while I did my ink blending! I also used my mini cube stand from The Ink Stand to hold my inks and keep my fingers clean while blending! I used 3 colors of Distress Ink: Peacock Feathers, Weathered Wood, and Shaded Lilac. Once my ink blending was complete I masked off 3 areas on the stencil. I then applied the Glitter Glitz gel in the color Surf using a pallet knife. I then carefully removed the stencil and allowed the background to dry.

Once the background was dry I trimmed the panel using my paper trimmer. I then adhered this panel to an embossed panel background, and adhered both to a card base. It was now time to work on my sentiment. I chose the die Merry and Bright. I die cut the sentiment 3 times using white card stock, then once using a holographic card stock. I then adhered these together with my Simon glue stick. I then glued these down onto my snowflake background. To complete the card I chose a pre-made sentiment from the From All of Us sentiment sets.

This completes my card! I had so much fun with the glitz gel and I know you will too!

This next card features a GORGEOUS new stencil Holiday Boho Circle stencil. I paired this with the Etched Laurel Leaves, Oxide Sprays, Oxide Inks, as well as Distress Inks. I also used the Thankful die and WOW embossing Powder in Egyptian Turquoise.

This next card features the Love Joy Peace rainbow stamp set. I paired this with the Geometrics Snowflake Background stamp, as well as embossing powder from WOW!
